The first step is always the toughest, whether you are getting back on track or whether you are exploring a new gym. If you are getting back on track, getting started can often times be intimidating. Whether you are experienced or just getting started, we want to introduce you to our staff, facility and our community. It all starts with our "No Sweat Intro" consultation, where we go over the various programs we offer, and which one will help you reach your goals.
The "No Sweat Intro" will be 10-15 minutes and we will discuss many subjects and also set some goals. Once the session concludes, you will have the option of participating in a workout session. During this session you will have a trainer/coach dedicated to you, and they will guide you through your first class. From the warm up, to the strength/skill portion and to the conditioning (the "WOD"), the trainer will guide you and modify the workout to your skill level. This allows you to go through a workout in a class setting, while at the same time giving you some guidance and training in order to ensure proper form. This session is also an information session on what CrossFit is, and it also gives participants an opportunity to ask any questions they may have. You will be in an intimate setting where you will be guided through a dynamic warm up, static stretching, movement instruction, a fun workout and then a cool down/stretch to conclude the session. The setting also allows you to ask any questions you may have about the program and methodology.
We do recommend that you hydrate properly the day before and the day of your free consultation session.
